Jacob Montoya

FACILITATOR

Born and raised in East Los Angeles, Jacob Montoya is a fourth-generation Angeleno with a deep commitment to the community that shaped him. After attending San Francisco State University, where he was introduced to the transformative power of community organizing, Jacob returned to Los Angeles to apply that passion in service of his hometown.

Over the years, he has contributed to a range of community-focused initiatives and organizations all centered around empowering the next generation of leaders. With a professional background in arts education and project management, Jacob brings creativity, strategy, and a collaborative spirit to both his work and his broader civic engagement.

Outside of his organizational role, Jacob continues to support community-building through the arts by curating and producing public events and creative experiences across Los Angeles.

Rooted in purpose and driven by pride in his culture and city, Jacob is dedicated to uplifting young leaders and helping shape a more vibrant, inclusive Los Angeles.
