Brooklin Ricks
FACILITATOR
Brooklin Ricks is an educator, curriculum specialist, and advocate of social justice. As an Inglewood native, Brooklin has deep roots to the community by which she serves. After completing her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University in African Studies, she has worked in general education as well as special education providing behavioral services. Following, Brooklin obtained her teaching credential from California State University, Dominguez Hills and continues to complete her Master’s of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction.
Impassioned by her dedication to providing inclusivity and excellence in education for all students, especially students of color—led Brooklin to working with Inner Spark Learning Labs to continue this initiative. Outside of the organization, she is very active within her community providing service and support to those in need. Driven by a desire for continuous professional development, Brooklin strives to continue to foster community engagement and uphold high standards of excellence in education.
